Hi, I’m Cyrus 👋
I’m an Instructional Design nerd who loves L&D and building little apps that make our lives easier. I was recently laid off from my Senior ID role, and honestly, that sting turned into a spark: I’m determined to support our community with free or truly affordable tools.
If you’ve ever wanted to test a build but got blocked by pricey authoring licenses, short trials, or “come back when you have an LMS,” I see you. You deserve room to try, tinker, and show your work—especially between gigs.
Why this project exists
This is the first of many tiny helpers. Simple SCORM Player lets you:
- Install like any normal WP plugin (WordPress itself is free ✅)
- Upload your SCORM .zip right in the dashboard
- Embed via shortcode anywhere on your site
- View basic tracking (completion, score, time, attempts)
It plays nicely with Articulate, Rise, Lectora, iSpring, Captivate—so your portfolio pieces don’t have to live behind someone else’s LMS. Share your craft proudly. 🌟
Quick start (60 seconds)
- Install & activate the plugin
- Upload your SCORM zip in SCORM Player (admin)
- Copy the shortcode it gives you
- Paste on any post/page → Publish → Done
